Consuelo C. Fernandez is a sole practioner with over 30 years of experience in real estate law.  She has dedicated her practice to closings of residential and commercial transactions. She was the closing agent for the U.S. Department of  Housing and Urban Development from 1990 to 1994.  She is certified to close MDEAT-HAP closings for first time home buyers. She can also assist in closing Reverse Mortgages for those individuals who have reached their retirement.  She can represent you at a closing to make sure that everything is being  done appropriately.

Begining October 3rd, 2015, the

CFPB will do away with the HUD-1 Closing Statement and replace it with the Closing Disclosure (CD) that must be delivered to the Borrower three days after the loan application and then three days prior to the date of closing.

Our office is up to date  with the new rules and regulations.

Latest Insights:
Its definitely a Seller's market. What do I mean by that? From what I hear there is no inventory out there. Buyers are paying over the listed sales price. But the interest rates are so low that Buyers are taking advantage of this even if they pay alittle more.
